Here D’Ippolito decided to create a sort of splash page showing the floating islands There is a very original composition of the grid, exploded and secuencially organized in order to provide both dynamism and exactness to reading.

Francesco D'ippolito

A comic book artist for the Topolino magazine and more, he's being working since 2001 when he published Qui Quo Qua e l’oro metropolitano for Topolino magazine and since then he never stopped.
Having illustrated stories and covers for Topolino magazine, he also worked on Pk magazine and Rainbow, and for Monster Allergy, Angry Birds, Duracell, Sky and Nestlè. He designed scenery for Costa Crociere and currently working for Bonelli on a Dragonero magazine’s spin-off.
At the moment he's also writing storyes by himself (the first time for Topolino magazine with four short stories called Paperino e Paperoga in io cuoco tu cuoci).
