Paolo De Lorenzi

Paolo De Lorenzi was born in Genoa on the 18th of September 1973. He attended the Chiavari School of Comics coordinated by Renzo Calegari and Enrico Bertozzi ('95 -'97), then the course Expert in comics Author and Illustrator organized by the great master GB Carpi.
In 1998 he started working as a cartoonist. Once become collaborator of Andrea Freccero, he made his debut for Disney as Andrea Ferraris’ inker and in 2001 he started working for Topolino magazine.
In 2005 he received the Goose Egg Nugget award by the American Carl Barks Fan Club at the International Cartoonists Exhibition in Rapallo.
He collaborated with Giochi Preziosi brand and participated in the visual design of Gladiators of Rome movie by Rainbow CGI. The collaboration with Disney Italy was extended in 2011 to Paperino and Paperinik Cult magazines, participating the same year in the issue no. 9 of Mono magazine published by Tenuè. Since 2012 he began working at Doubleduck series. In 2014 he made the poster for Smack! Genoa Comicon.
We can highlight several Disney covers and his participation in issues no. 26 and 29 of PK Magazine, 4 episodes from the series The History of Art by Mickey Mouse and several episodes from Doubleduck series.
He also participated in the mini-series PK Universe, The Fangus Machine, Phantom Duck and Astral Trip and The Great Race.
In 2016 he illustrated the Disney parody The Prince Duckleto and start producing packaging illustrations and cards for the blind bags of Cicaboom and Image Editions. He realized the second episode of the mini-series Donald Quest published in the U.S.A. by IDW Comics.
